Our Butterfly Audiology Clinic Castlemaine
Our clinic in Castlemaine was established in 2005 by Bendigo locals, Dan and Danielle Bowles.
Our experienced and dedicated staff ensure every client receives individual treatment and continuity of care from the moment they contact us to managing their ongoing hearing needs. We use the latest hearing aid technology from the world’s leading hearing aid manufacturers and our Audiologists do not receive commissions based on hearing aid sales. We take pride in being able to assist our local community to improve their hearing.

Our Audiologists in Castlemaine
Damien McInerney,
Senior Audiologist (Bendigo & Castlemaine)
Bachelor of Behavioural Science,
Master of Clinical Audiology
Damien chose a career as an Audiologist because he wanted to help people, and work in a profession with a firm scientific foundation. With over 10 years experience as an Audiologist, Damien still loves that his job helps to provide people with practical solutions to their communication difficulties and improves their quality of life and relationships. When Damien isn’t on the job at Butterfly Audiology you’ll find him connecting and creating Dads groups via Facebook, playing basketball and eating donuts! All in moderation, of course.
Julia Quinlivan,
Senior Audiologist (Castlemaine)
Bachelor of Applied Speech Pathology, Master of Clinical Audiology
With over 15 years’ experience as an Audiologist, Julia loves what she does! There is so much about audiology that she enjoys from the continuous advancement in technology in hearing aids, to helping her clients communicate more successfully and stay engaged. Born in Shepparton and raised in the Goulburn Valley, Julia loves living in Central Victoria. When not at work, Julia loves being able to enjoy the great outdoors, be it through road cycling, bushwalking, skiing and growing food for her family to enjoy.
Erin Winfield,
Clinical Audiologist (Kyneton & Castlemaine)
Erin worked as an audiologist in Melbourne for 15 years before joining the Butterfly Team in February 2023. Erin works out of our Kyneton and Castlemaine clinics.
Erin finds Audiology very rewarding – she loves the technical, problem-solving aspect of hearing aids and the rapport and connections she gets to build with clients, whilst resolving their listening and communication difficulties.
In her spare time, Erin enjoys outdoor adventures with her young family and their Dalmatian, Boston, who ironically has a total hearing loss and has been trained with sign language.
Georgia Gooding,

Georgia loves that this job helps improve the quality of people’s lives, she is constantly learning and that no day is ever the same. When Georgia isn’t at work she is busy playing professional netball, traveling and exploring new parts of the world, catching up with friends and family and disconnecting by listening to podcasts.
Stephen Wong,
Clinical Audiologist (Bendigo & Castlemaine)
Bachelor of Science (Physiology), Master of Clinical Audiology
